I was first introduced to Aglow in 1980 through Mary Wolf, who was serving as an Area Team Leader at the time. I was 30 years old then, and now, 45 years later, I am still an active member, deeply grateful for this journey. Though Mary and her husband have since gone home to be with the Lord, I will always cherish her role in opening the door to Aglow for me and the countless blessings that have followed.
What first drew me to Aglow was the undeniable presence of God among His people. There was such a deep connection with the Lord that it felt tangible, and that connection has kept me anchored in His presence ever since. I couldn’t walk away even if I wanted to—His hand has taken hold of me, and I never want to let go. Attending Aglow’s International and National Conferences is always a powerful experience, standing in unity with so many believers who are in one accord with God. It is truly an empowering and life-changing time.
One of the greatest joys of leading the Cedarburg “Open Door” Community Lighthouse is witnessing people come alive in Christ—seeing their faces light up as they encounter His presence. I love watching them return each month, hungry for more of Him. There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing lives transformed and hearts set ablaze for the Lord.
