My journey with Aglow began in October 1977, when I attended my very first Aglow Kenosha meeting. Soon after, I was invited to serve as the Hospitality lead for a year, which opened the door to a deeper commitment. I went on to serve faithfully as Secretary for two years, Vice President for one year, and President for two years.
In January 1987, I was called to serve on the Wisconsin South Area Team, where I ministered for just over nine years until May 1996. I stepped down at that time to focus on family responsibilities. A couple of years later, the Lord led me back to serve on the local team for another 3–4 years, after which I passed the baton to a newly appointed president.
Over the years, I have been blessed to attend numerous Area, National, and International Aglow Conferences. The most recent was in Jacksonville, Florida, in September 2023—a truly refreshing time in the presence of the Lord.
Since November 2, 2021, I have had the honor of serving as President of the Aglow Kenosha Neighborhood Prayer Lighthouse. My husband John has stood faithfully by my side throughout this journey, serving as my right hand and greatest encourager. It continues to be a joy to walk in obedience to God's call through this ministry.
